Elan Ski Shop Online Store Terms & Conditions

General
Elan Ski Shop sells products to adult private individuals. All product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to make changes to prices and shipping costs.


Ordering

Products are ordered in the online store by placing them in the shopping cart and paying for the contents via the online payment service. All customer information is handled confidentially. Contact details requested during the order process will only be used to deliver the order or resolve any issues that may arise, unless otherwise stated.

By placing an order in the online store, you are expected to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions valid at the time of purchase.


Payment and Payment Methods

Our payment service is Klarna Checkout, which offers the following payment options: invoice, installment, card payment, and online bank payment. By providing information at checkout, you accept Klarna AB’s terms (Klarna AB, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm). By clicking the “Buy” button, you agree to Elan Ski Shop Levi’s general terms and conditions.


Order and Payment Confirmation

Once we have received your order, we will immediately send you an order confirmation by email, showing your order details. Please always check the contents of the confirmation. If you have any questions, contact our customer service right away. Keep the order confirmation for future reference if you need to contact customer service. Always have your customer number and order number available when contacting us. Check that the contents of the package match the products listed in your order confirmation.

Delivery Methods and Costs

  • Free delivery in Finland on orders over €90.
  • For orders under €90, delivery costs €5.90.
  • Unclaimed parcels are subject to a fee of €10.
  • Orders are delivered by Posti Oyj or Matkahuolto.
  • In-store pickup: €0.00.

Delivery Time

Typical delivery times within Finland vary depending on the order and delivery method. Exceptions to delivery time estimates will be indicated if items in the shopping cart are out of stock, and we will also notify you immediately after ordering of any possible delays.

We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or for any indirect damages resulting from delays. Any exceptions to delivery times will be communicated on our online store’s website.


Returns

Products purchased in the online store have a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with Finnish consumer protection law. The 14-day return period begins when the customer has received the product.

Returns apply only to unused and saleable products in their original packaging (tags attached – it is not sufficient to return the tags separately, and products must be unwashed and unused). We do not accept returns after the 14-day return period. Returns sent with cash on delivery will not be accepted. Orders are shipped within 1–4 business days after receipt.

Returned products must be well packaged, in the same way as they were originally sent.

Always notify us of returns in advance by email so we can confirm that the return/exchange right is still valid. Include the order confirmation or another receipt showing the original payment method.

When the return has been approved, we will register it with Klarna, who will refund the money according to the payment method used.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returns.


Order Cancellation

The customer may cancel their order if delivery has not taken place within a reasonable time. Cancellations must be notified by email at elanskishop@levi.fi or by phone at +358 40 4865544. We usually inform customers by email or phone if the delivery time differs from the normal timeframe. The online store also reserves the right to cancel an order and refund the payment to the customer’s account.


Delivery

The online store is not responsible for delivery delays beyond its control. We reserve the right to change prices. We also reserve the right to cancel an order in the case of an obvious pricing error. An obvious pricing error means that the product price in the online store deviates so significantly from the correct price that the customer is understood to realize the mistake.

The online store does not guarantee product availability at all times. In such cases, we will contact the customer.


Warranty

Our products include the standard one-year warranty under consumer protection law. The warranty does not apply if the consumer has neglected the product’s usage instructions, used the product incorrectly (e.g., skiing into rocks, using piste skis in the park, or grinding rails with skis), or chosen a product unsuitable for their size or intended use. The warranty also does not cover normal wear and tear.

In warranty cases, check your receipt for warranty validity and contact our customer service by email or phone. A photo of the defective product will help us process the claim.

All products under warranty are sent to the importer for inspection. The standard procedure in warranty cases is either to repair the product or replace it with a new one.

When returning products under warranty, follow these instructions:

  1. Notify us of the return by email at elanskishop@levi.fi.
  2. The product must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
  3. Protect the returned product properly. Use the same type of packaging in which it was delivered and seal carefully. The customer is responsible for ensuring the product arrives intact.
  4. Take the return to a Posti or Matkahuolto office and request a receipt. Keep the receipt for at least 3 months as proof of return.

Unclaimed Parcels

Failure to collect a package is not the same as a return or cancellation. For unclaimed parcels without a separate cancellation notice, we will charge the shipping costs.


Problem Situations

If a product has been lost or damaged during shipping, or does not otherwise match your order, you must report the issue within 14 days to the address listed in the “Returns” section or by calling our customer service number.

If a package is clearly damaged during transport, you must immediately file a complaint with the delivery company you selected.
